Since 1990
Our history
1990
Foundation
Building on 20 years of experience in the manufacture and use of diamond tools, Veronika Navarro founds the sole proprietorship „VEronika NAvarro Diamantwerkzeuge & Maschinen“ in Wilnsdorf. The initial letters give the company its name: VENA.
1993
New production hall
The company grows quickly. A larger hall provides space for modern production machines and new skilled staff.
1996
Our own building
In January 1996 VENA moves into its own building. Administration and production now work under one roof, with new, efficient production equipment.
2000
VENA becomes a training company
Our first apprentice in a metalworking trade successfully completes his training and is still with the company today. Since then we have regularly trained young people.
2011
Second generation and GmbH
With the handover to the next generation, the sole proprietorship becomes VENA-GmbH. The logo and company colour get a new look.
2015
25 years of VENA
A quarter of a century of development, application and expertise.
2016
Sales in Europe
We expand our sales: in eastern Germany and with new partners in Scandinavia.
2019
Calibrating tools for the concrete industry
We develop our own calibrating tools for the French concrete industry: calibrating rollers and grinding sectors for the precise processing of concrete products. This brings our experience from construction and natural stone into industrial series production.
After the death of our long-standing supplier and friend Hubert Hillmaier, we take over the production of HIT diamond wire saw technology and continue his life’s work. Since then we have been expanding our wire saw technology, true to the quality standard the HIT name stood for.
We extend our sales network: since 2024, the company Malherbe from Valence has represented our industrial diamond tools in France. Together with our authorised dealers in Norway, Belgium and Spain, we are now present locally in four European countries.

As an established family business, we supply modern tool technology for natural stone processing, building construction, civil engineering, road building and landscaping as well as industrial stone processing. We continuously develop our products so that you can rely on quality “Made in Germany”.
